David and Diane launched Teesoutdoors in 2008 as a way to deliver high quality bespoke informal education and outdoor training into school and youth settings.
In 2020 To allow us to support those most in need we became a Community Interest Company (CIC), Activites are now more accessible to all the community and we lowered barriers to participation.
We are committed to delivering active, innovative, experiential learning, inspiring people and sharing our discoveries. We do this for all abilities and make sure we can cater for everyone.
Teesoutdoors is based on accountable transparency and evidence based trust. That means that when we make a commitment, we will always back it up with solid traceable proof. We thrive on challenge and will ask the difficult questions that provoke thought, reflection and growth.
We love what we do - and it shows! With years of combined experience, we have wealth of knowledge. We use this to support the outdoor sector, offering technical advice and leadership training to partners and colleagues.
We have decided to build our services as a small hight quality provider, to be close to the client, and able to adapt programmes to meet needs, we have provision 2 classes on residentials (48ish) most of our programmes are for groups up to 16 people.
Our commitment to lifelong learning journeys means we encourage colleagues to get involved in their own development, supporting their own explorations, expeditions and adventures. In that process, we return more able to deliver richer learning and development experiences to clients.
